Acupuncture for Hot Flashes

Acupuncture for hot flashes? Yes!

A recent study published in Acupuncture in Medicine shows that having regular acupuncture twice weekly can help women’s transition into menopause. The study was small but promising. 53 women were divided into 2 groups. The first group received acupuncture treatments twice weekly, while the second group received “sham” acupuncture using blunt needles that did not penetrate the skin. Blood draws were taken before the study, as well as before and after the last treatment. They also measured other menopausal symptoms including vaginal dryness and mood swings using a five point menopause rating scale (MRS)*. They found that the women using acupuncture scored significantly lower on the MRS with the largest decrease in hot flashes. While more investigating needs to be done this study shows great promise on the effectiveness of acupuncture when treating these issues.

TCRA has had great success treating hot flashes and other symptoms of menopause for years.

*The menopause rating scale (MRS) is a measuring system used to rate symptoms on severity using a 5 point rating system of 0 – 4.

In order to avoid such problem you can opt for colon cleansing. It would flush out all the unwanted toxins from your body and help you to have regular bowel movements at ease.

And so your’re asking yourself the reason why your feces color changed from golden brown to a darkish tone Green feces. The most common causes for Green feces & poop may be related to factors that include:

The foodstuffs we consume can easily influence having very darkish to light colored Green feces. This usually comes about when there is an overconsumption of specific “green” foodstuff including: leafy green vegetables such as lettuce, broccoli, spinach, peas, green peppers, etcDon’t forget to rule out foods which are highly processed such as desserts, cookies, food colouring foods, and drink mixtures. Eating meals which are high in iron could also trigger green stool within your bowel movements because the body basically does not have the opportunity to absorb unwanted iron, hence your body compenstates by excreting iron salts giving the stool a shade of green. Check the food content label of foods that may be loaded with iron.

Green feces can sometimes be attributed to a general change in colinic transit time. Food enters the intestines in a green colour. Although it goes through the intestinal tract, it’s absorbed by bile produced from the body’s liver since it absorbs certain vitamins and fats. It also softens the feces. This procedure is how people get brown stool. When food moves more rapidly than it should through the intestinal tract, it doesn’t enable the feces to get excreted in a brown shade. This is not regular body functioning, so it leaves the feces in a green color because it hasn’t been broken down by enzymes. One possible trigger of this is an onset of diarrhoea.

Other possible causes of Green feces may include, but is not restricted to: irritable bowel syndrome, bacteria, crohns, colitis, food poisoning, medications & stimulant laxatives.Green feces nothing To Worry About. Green feces.

Urine Analysis Strips

Laboratory professionals use a variety of ways to test urine samples. One is direct observation under a microscope and another is through an immersion of urine analysis strips (or urine test strips) in the sample.

Urine analysis strips are basic materials found in diagnostic laboratories. A standard urine strip has up to 10 different chemical pads that include glucose, blood, protein, leukocytes, nitrite, ketones, urobilinogen, bilirubin, pH value, and specific gravity pads. The strip is immersed in a urine sample from 1 to 2 minutes. Once taken out, the strip will change colors which signifies a chemical reaction with the urine.

Doctors look at the results on the chemical pad reactions to determine screening parameters from urine analysis strips. For instance, positive reactions to leukocytes, nitrite, protein, blood, specific gravity and pH level indicate diseases of the kidneys and urinary tract.

Liver diseases are detected by reactions with urobilinogen and biliburin, while carbohydrate metabolism disorders are detected in reactions to glucose and ketones chemicals.

The use of urine analysis strips is a fast and easy method of diagnosing a variety of diseases. It is used in many healthcare facilities for routine examinations, for self-monitoring of patients, as aid in preventive medication and in guided monitoring by healthcare workers. It is especially helpful in detecting diabetic and kidney diseases patients in group screenings. Today, automated urine test strip analyzer makes this instrument a mainstay of modern urine analysis laboratories.
